the residents to lead a fulfiled life
and to achieve the highest potential
that their condition permits - physically,
socially, emotionally and spiritually.
Activities
Our activities programme includes a
varied and entertaining social calendar
taking trips to the local shops, church,
bingo, parks, clubs and libraries and
such amenities are also brought into
the home.
A
Qualia/Sensory Room and Activities Room
afford the residents a very active occupational/diversional
therapy and reality orientation regime
which all help in providing a stimulating
and happy environment.Personal Care
The
day to day running of Orchard House
is the responsibility of our highly
experienced matron who is duly assisted
by a specialist team of dedicated registered
mental nurses and care assistants, all
selected for the excellence of their
clinical and therapeutic skills
Each
resident’s routine treatment is
carried out by either qualified nursing
staff or our Doctor, and in accordance
with each individual’s care plan,
which is regularly reviewed. In addition
we are also happy to arrange appointments
as necessary with Dentists, Opticians
and Chiropodists.
